Denture Supported Implants |
   If you have a denture that doesn’t stay in while eating or talking there are two options to anchor the denture:
- Implants with bar support
- Mini implants
| Implants with bar support 2 to 4 implants are placed and a custom bar is constructed connecting the implants. Clips are added to the underside of the denture allowing the denture to clip onto the bar. This allows stabilization of the denture while talking and eating. | Mini implants Recent technology allows us to place very narrow implants in areas that would traditionally not support implant placement. Several of the mini implants are placed and a metal housing is inserted into the denture with a replaceable O-ring that interfaces with the mini implant. These implants generally can be put into function the same day or within days of their placement. | |
